Montague Pastoral charge of PEI is looking for a minister of Word, Sacrament and Pastoral Charge to fill our vacancy. This is a full time ministry of 40 hrs per week starting August 1, 2018. Our JNAC information is available at www.maritimeconference.com .

Nestled in the heart of McGill University’s dynamic downtown campus in the vibrant city of Montréal, Québec, the United Theological College is looking for an individual who will help it achieve its next step on the path to sustainable growth.

The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate:
 Experience in transformational leadership and visioning
 Proficiency in both English and French
 Experience in strategic planning and fundraising
 Experience in teaching and mentoring of students

The successful candidate should possess:

We are seeking an enthusiastic, full time ordained, diaconal or designated lay minister to take care of some 275 households in this rural but beautiful area of NL. We have ten communities forming four congregations on the island and the minister does two worship services per Sunday alternating between the four churches. We have a well kept, three bedroom manse with a fully functional office inside.
Random Island is located just minutes from the main service hub of Clarenville and is connected by a short causeway. There, all the amenities of a small town are located including a hospital, shopping centers, banks, hotels, restaurants, vocational school and medical clinics.
Random Island has a total population of approximately 1200 people. We have a K-12 school, convenience stores, gas stations, ambulance and funeral home as well as a senior citizens' home. There is a seasonal fish plant located in Hickman's Harbour and most people work in and around the Clarenville area.

Port aux Basques is a picturesque coastal community and the gateway to Newfoundland. Our town boasts a state of the art recreation facility, a hospital, two schools and a College of the North Atlantic campus. The surrounding area has many walking/hiking trails and beautiful beaches. The congregation of Wesley United Church is seeking a one half time ordained, diaconal or lay minister to serve approximately one hundred families. Our beautiful church has undergone recent renovations. The attached hall houses an office, a kitchen and open space to accommodate one hundred people. We are presently in good financial standing . In the absence of a manse, we will work with you to find suitable accommodations. The fitting candidate should have a warm and welcoming personality who is willing to work with us to ensure the spiritual well-being of our sick and shut-ins. The Burgeo Pastoral charge is vacant and is seeking a Part time Ordained or Diaconal and/or Lay Minister. This person should have a warm and friendly personality, a strong interest in visitation of the sick and shut-in, good preaching skills and any musical background would be an asset. We have approximately 90-100 families within our parish and we have a manse available.  The manse and church are located next door to each other and there have been recent renovations made to both buildings’ interior.  The manse has been painted with new flooring and heat pumps installed.  The church has had new carpet recently installed. There is a modern hospital with 2 doctors and a K-12 school with approximately 90+ students.  There are many volunteer groups very active within the town as well. The Green Bay South Pastoral Charge is seeking a full time minister to start serving immediately. We are seeking a minister from any stream of ministry and will seriously consider a student minister since our Pastoral Charge was a learning site from 2012 to 2016. Green Bay South is a three point Pastoral Charge, consisting of the towns of Lushes Bight-Beaumont, Roberts Arm and South Brook and serves approximately 140 families. The modern manse is located in Roberts Arm. Nippers' Harbour Harbour Pastoral Charge is a rural 3 point pastoral charge, encompassing the communities of Nipper's Harbour, Woodstock, and Pacquet, located on the Baie Verte Peninsula between the communities of Baie Verte and La Scie. The Nipper's Harbour Pastoral Charge is seeking ministerial services (ordained, diaconcal, or designated lay minister (recognised) to fill a half-time (20 hr/wk vacancy. The pastoral charge provides a four bedroom manse with office located in Nippers' Harbour. Furnishings can be provided if needed. Salary and benefits will be provided on a 50% basis in accordance with the Schedule of Salary and Allowances 2014 of the UCC. The Fogo Island Pastoral Charge invites applications for a full time Ordained or Designated Lay Minister. Fogo Island Pastoral Charge is a one point charge located centrally on Beautiful, Picturesque Fogo Island.

Fogo Island is a vibrant active rural fishing community. Fogo Island has fast become one of the top places in the world to visit. This is contributed in part to the Shorefast Foundation, and the highly acclaimed Fogo Island Inn.

 

Our church presently have a congregation of about 160 families. A newly constructed Church Hall is located adjacent to our Church. We also have a church manse which includes, functional well equipped office space.

Fogo Island Pastoral Charge has morning and evening services each Sunday. The Fogo Island Ministrial Association works well together with eccumenical services throughout each year.

We are a three point pastoral charge: Memorial United in Valleyfield; Ebenezer United in Brookfield; and Jubilee United, Wesleyville; located on the north east coast of Newfoundland, NL. Our charge is located 1.5 hrs from Gander, a major shopping and service centre in central Newfoundland, NL. Our communities offer most modern conveniences: hospital, supermarkets, restaurants, pharmacies, banks, a multi-grade school, a stadium and other recreation facilities, gas bars and service stations.

We are seeking a full-time Ordained Minister to serve our three congregations. Our welcoming, vibrant and well-established congregations reflect a blend of traditional theology while, at the same time, are open to exploring new concepts and contemporary styles of worship. Leadership will continue to nourish the multi-age membership of our congregations while encouraging the participation of new and younger individuals and families.


Ministry which provides compassionate pastoral care is very is very important to us. Our new minister should have strong personal skills, strong personal faith, and a passion for preaching inspirational sermons.
